Werner was born in Stuttgart Germany and is a painter, sculptor and printmaker who has had over 60 solo exhibitions and over 200 group shows. He brings together his manifold talents in this new form of dimensional art where the relationship between real and illusional space becomes the subtle and fascinating result. He depends on his traditional printmaking background and establishes his designs, key colors and textural elements creating "constructions" sometimes consisting of complex individual parts, all hand-assembled. His works consists of various geometric and architectonic color components which he arranges in different configurations in the printed field.
