Gary Beeber has been searching since childhood for ways to capture and share his unique response to visual experience. Light and shadow, texture, shapes, pattern and color have always informed his palette. He is drawn to his subject matter by both his eye for detail and a poet's sense of the dimensions of time. His work has a tension between abstraction and representation, surface plane and depth of field, light and color saturation, past and present. He has had several one-man shows in New York and the Hamptons and has participated in major art fairs in the US and Europe. His work is in a number of corporate collections including Pfizer, Chase and Goldman Sachs.
